ABOUT CLARA

At the age of 8, Clara heard about a cake decorating birthday party at a baking studio in her hometown, Denver. She wanted this party with all of her heart, but the hefty price tag was an issue. Her parents made a deal with her: they would pay for half of the cost of the party, if Clara could come up with the other half. After two years of lemonade stands, car washes and extra chores around the house, Clara had raised over $250 and her 10th birthday party was one to remember!

Shortly thereafter, Clara moved to Paris with her family and she thought that she would have to give up her love of baking. Little did she know, this was only the beginning! 

Inspired by her favorite books (The Cupcake Club series), and her favorite shows (Zumbo’s Just Desserts and the food network's Kids Baking Championships), Clara dreams of starting an after school baking business which would cater to cafés, parties, and private sales. She would also love to publish a baking cookbook for kids!
